CTI is the abbreviation for Cooling Technology Institute, also known as the (American) Cooling Technology Society. It is an academic institution composed of manufacturers and professionals engaged in cooling technology, founded in 1950, with its headquarters located in Houston, Texas, USA.

CTI is a non-profit, self regulatory technical organization that focuses on improving the technology, performance, and maintenance of evaporative heat exchange systems. The nnbbspp  Society is mainly responsible for leading and formulating technical standards and specifications related to cooling technology (mainly cooling towers), effectively promoting the development and technological progress of the entire industry, and guiding the improvement and enhancement of product quality in the industry. At the same time, sufficient technical standards are established to carry out product certification, and "high standards" and "strict requirements" are adhered to during the certification process. Therefore, CTI enjoys a high reputation in the industry and has become the most influential and authoritative institution in the international cooling technology (cooling tower) industry. The cooling tower thermal performance certification standard (ATC-105) developed by CTI has become the basis for evaluating tower performance and technology in many government departments and large project cooling tower orders in many countries. It is required that the product series participating in the bidding must obtain CTI certification or have CTI technical experts conduct cooling tower thermal performance testing on site when acceptance is specified. It goes without saying that CTI certification has become the "international passport" for the sale of cooling towers worldwide. And provide users with quality assurance.
